The 20th Annual Scholarship Benefit

The Board of Trustees, Faculty, and Staff of De Marillac Academy invite you to sponsor this year’s 20th Annual Scholarship Benefit on Thursday, March 12, 2026.

For twenty-five years, De Marillac Academy has stood as a place of hope, possibility, and transformation in the heart of San Francisco’s Tenderloin. This year’s theme, “A Legacy in Bloom”, celebrates the seeds planted by our founders, nurtured by our community, and flourishing through the lives of our students and graduates. With your steadfast partnership, De Marillac has grown into a vibrant legacy of academic excellence, leadership, and compassion.

This year, we are proud to celebrate De Marillac Academy’s 20th Annual Scholarship Benefit. What began as the original “Gift of a Day” celebration, ASB has blossomed into a time-honored tradition that continues to sustain our mission. Year after year, the Scholarship Benefit remains our most effective fundraising and community-building event—raising nearly one-third of our annual operating budget. The funds generated are essential to providing our extraordinary students, graduates, and their families with the educational opportunities and support programs, nurturing purpose, faith, and promise.

What you can expect from this year’s event:

• A short yet moving celebration of De Marillac Academy’s students, graduates, and families.

• Pre-event reception with students, showcasing projects they have made throughout the year.

• Opportunity to connect with fellow attendees and DMA students, graduates, faculty, and staff.

• Student Art Auction featuring pieces by our young creatives.

• An amazing performance from DMA’s choir. Your support of the Annual Scholarship Benefit allows us to continue our mission.

As we celebrate the 20th Annual Scholarship Benefit, we invite you to join us in sustaining this tradition and ensuring DMA’s legacy. Your sponsorship directly supports DMA’s holistic, student-centered model—ensuring every young person receives not only a high-quality education on campus, but also the long-term support they need through high school, a post-secondary milestone, and into early adulthood. Together, we can carry forward the mission that has guided us for 25 years and invest in the promise of our students and families.
