Mixed Media. Hi, my name is Eric and I am in 8th Grade. This is my masterpiece called Self Portrait. What I like about art is the different ways I can express my emotions and draw them and paint them. When I finished this piece, I felt good and proud because I really liked how it looked. My favorite thing to do in art class is free draw and color things in. I love doing these things because they are fun and the outcome makes me proud and happy. I like playing soccer. I am currently in a soccer club and in love with the sport. I also like drawing a lot and enjoy going outside to have fun playing sports like basketball and soccer.

For example, if you are sad, you can paint/draw a sad picture. When this painting was finished, I felt accomplished. This was because of the time I spent drawing the smaller details and patterns in the drawing. My favorite thing to do in art class is painting. I like this because you can mix many colors together to get a new one. I also like it cause when painting you have to plan everything else before painting because you can mess up. Besides doing something artistic, I like to play basketball with my friends, baking, and listening to music. Art is my favorite subject in school. This is because you can experiment with different materials and with different colors.
